We love cuddles with our children. We love our morning cup of coffee. We love sleeping in a little on a weekend. We love our children, but are we using the same word to communicate our likes? How often are we verbalizing what we like? Do we like it when our child's arms reach out for a hug? Do we like when we are able to sip our coffee at the right exact temperature? Do we like those extra ten minutes of rest on a Sunday morning? Should we distinguish the word love versus like? I like when we hug it makes me feel loved. We like our morning coffee, but we love when we can sit together and read a book. We like when we can sleep in, but I love my memories of our early mornings spent together.
